This may not be the place to as but does anyone know how or could direct me to who may be able to help me mod my cable modem for a faster speed?

Yea, unfortunately thats uncapping your modem.

Its against ToS here as well as your ISP. They will eventually catch on with most mods and they can ban your account.

You might want to try google it, thats the best I can help you with it.
