PC-HQ Battlefield 3 Server?

We should have a notes section for our own games, like for glitches or intersting things we found, etc etc.... its almost like reviews but you can update the notes when you come across something, and I belive no other site that I know of has that kind of customization.

What To Do?

Hi guys,

Hoping that you can all add whatever games you have to your collection for us. I will be writing some new scripts soon to find out which members own the titles you do..

If you have ideas post them..

JUST GO THROUGH the PC GAMES area and click on the ADD TO MY GAMES icon's.. You can manage your own games then in your my collection area.

How much should i sell my xbox360 and accesories for?

The PC now randomly restarts itself (not very often) and .net framework 2 gives an error whilst installing. I also get the same error with MSN Messenger 7.5 and Live Beta 8. Really annoying now! Seems to be on processor intensive things like dvd authing also when I was downloading firefox, installing updates and installing The Sims 2 the Pc crashed. lol don't blame it poor thing.

By the way - No slowness atall while doing it!!

I was thinking of doing a reinstall. I have been monitoring temps and cpu only rose to 45c whilst doing all of the above. Also system and pwm were around the 30's-40's (cannot remember exactly)

Please help me!

[i:abaa6b94b3]Edit: Image isn't working so will add here[/i:abaa6b94b3]

- all right it doesn't like tifs! Copy link into browser.

Here's the error in text:

[quote:abaa6b94b3="Windows MCE 2005 error when installing .NET framework 2 and others"]extracing file failed. It is most likely caused by low memory (low disc space for swapping file) or currupted cabinet file[/quote:abaa6b94b3]

PC-Hq Needs Your Help

Ok....Lot's to take in. Windows isn't running so I cannot run a game to test the system.

Likewise i have no idea. I have had some problems with XP after component changes but usually it's just a repair install or format.

I don't get why the boot screen goes along until windows is about to boot and then restart the PC

Edit: I have tried putting the system down to bare minimum spec.

Has anybody tried Ubuntu 11.10 Alpha?

I really don't know what could be wrong, I would try with an "out of body experience" for it, by taking all of the components out of the case, and laying them on a wooden surface, make sure to not have any metal around it it might short something. Take it all apart, down to the cpu and everything, then one by one put them back in, making sure that there is enough thermal paste for the processor (should just be a little bit, not too much or it does no good). With the system laying out on the table, you can use the button for the case to turn it on, or just carefully use a screwdriver to touch the 2 leads for the pw switch. I would let it run outside of the case for atleast an hour or two, running some type of game or something that would tax the system, if it doesn't crash we've got some weird problems.

Also try taking out unneccesarry parts, use only 1 stick of ram, no tv tuner, no sound card, 1 hdd, 1 optical drive, try to locate the problem this way. If it works fine without the tv tuner, you know it was the issue (not saying it is, just giving an example). Also if you have any spare parts laying around (video card mainly) try replacing it and seeing how it runs, very well could be the video card.

Another thing to try would be going to the manufacturer's websites and getting the very latest drivers for all of your parts, that's basically all you can do, keep troubleshooting until you find the faulty part, then get an rma on it, if your time to get an rma on it is running out, you may want to go ahead and rma it all, and get a new mobo, cpu and ram.

Are you using the RAM as Dual Channel DDR? If you are, try using it as single channel.

Sometimes if the sticks are not purchased as a "Factory Matched Pair", they can give errors like this.

[quote:08474a6e8d="sjohn"]Do you have what the error is on the blue screen that you get? Both the wording error and the 0xblahblah error would be really handy. I would almost bet it would be an issue with the ram.[/quote:08474a6e8d]

What sort of RAM issues could it be? I have tried two different set of RAM and both don't work. Could it be timmings? I have it set to pick them up from PDC.
